With more than 45 years of experience and a production capacity exceeding 1.4 billion tablets annually, Flacer delivers both scale and flexibility to retail and brand partners across Europe.

Our three operational sites, Vado, Pontecchio and Rioveggio in the Bologna area, and Flacer Iberia in Málaga, form an integrated network that ensures efficiency, consistency, and local market responsiveness.
From initial concept to the finished product, Flacer provides full-service contract manufacturing and private label development supported by certified quality systems.

Where Innovation and Tradition Meet

Located in Vado, Bologna, the Vado site is the historical heart of Flacer - where production first began in 1977 under Flavio Ceri. Today, the factory remains the company’s core development and pilot plant, integrating nearly five decades of detergent expertise with modern automation.

Vado focuses on dishwashing and laundry tablet formulation, small-series production, and innovation testing for new product concepts.

It also houses our research laboratories and quality control departments, ensuring every Flacer product reflects Italian engineering and excellence.

Industrial Efficiency at Scale

The Sasso Marconi facility, just outside Bologna, represents Flacer’s technological backbone. Built to meet growing international demand, this factory operates high-speed automated lines capable of producing more than 1.4 billion tablets per year.
With advanced mixing, compression, and packaging systems, Rioveggio specialises in multi-layer tablets, multi-chamber pods, and Oxi powders, combining high throughput with consistent quality.
Certified under IFS HPC Progress, ISO, FSC, and RSPO, the site demonstrates Flacer’s commitment to sustainable industrial performance and international quality compliance.

Local Agility for Southern Europe

Established in 2025, Flacer Iberia SL in Málaga, Spain strengthens our service to the Iberian Peninsula and Portugal. While manufacturing remains centred in Italy, the Iberian site manages product localisation, final packaging, logistics, and regional distribution — bringing Italian quality closer to Southern European markets.
Flacer Iberia also oversees the QIVO brand, a ready-to-list mono-dose range for retail partners, and provides regulatory, marketing, and customer support tailored to Iberian retailers. This structure ensures faster lead times, local responsiveness, and the same standards of excellence that define Flacer globally.
